Welcome to Kotsa. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Kotsa platform, including our mobile applications and website. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Kotsa only for lawful purposes related to property search, listing, and transactions in Mauritius. You must not use the platform to post false or misleading information, harass other users, scrape or collect data without authorisation, or engage in any fraudulent activity. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Agent Responsibilities

If you register as an agent on Kotsa, you represent and warrant that you are legally authorised to conduct property transactions in Mauritius. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the listings you publish, including property descriptions, photos, pricing, and availability. You must respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner. Kotsa does not act as a party to any transaction between agents and seekers, and we do not guarantee the outcome of any property transaction facilitated through our platform.

Listing Guidelines

All property listings must be accurate, current, and complete. Listings must include genuine photographs of the actual property and an honest description of its condition, features, and location. Pricing must reflect the true asking price. Duplicate listings for the same property are not permitted. Kotsa reserves the right to remove any listing that does not meet our quality standards, contains misleading information, or violates any applicable laws. Properties that have been sold, rented, or are otherwise no longer available must be removed promptly.

Limitation of Liability

Kotsa provides a platform for connecting property seekers with agents and owners. We do not own, manage, or inspect any properties listed on our platform. While we make every effort to verify listings and agent identities, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information or the outcome of any transaction. Kotsa shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, reliance on listing information, or interactions with other users. You acknowledge that property transactions carry inherent risks and that you should conduct your own due diligence before making any commitments.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Kotsa reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your conduct negatively impacts other users or the integrity of our platform. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Active listings will be removed, and any outstanding obligations will survive termination. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
